Attractive watercolor by Lionel Fielding Downes (1900-1972). The artist depicted the visit of English ship “RMS Birmingham” in 1958 for the 350 th anniversary of the city of Quebec. The scene was painted close to Quebec’s Yacht club, near Wolf’s cove. We can see St. Michel de Sillery church in the background. The artwork itself measures 12 x 9 inches.
