Bookends “Appeal to the great spirit”

Beautiful pair of bookends cast after Cyrus Edwin Dallin’s work called “Appeal to the Great Spirit”. This bronze equestrian statue made around 1909 is placed in front of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. It is one of the most famous works of art in the United States.

Made of gilded cast iron and hand painted, these have a patina that shows us that they have been used.
