Model of the Bluenose sailboat by Eugène Leclerc

Meticulous work carried out by Eugène Leclerc from Saint-Jean-Port-Joli. Made between 1925 and 1937. Very high level of detail.

The most famous ship in Canadian history, the Bluenose was both a fishing vessel and a racing vessel during the 1920s and 1930s. This Nova Scotia schooner gained immortality when her image was engraved on the Canadian dime.
