Model 1869 headgear worn by the 9th “Voltigeurs de Québec” regiment between 1869 and 1901. The badge affixed to the front displays the crown of Queen Victoria. This one is covered in felt and its removable feathers are in very good condition.
The Voltigeurs de Québec is a rifle regiment formed in 1862 and is the oldest French-Canadian regiment.
The stand is not included with the hat.
